Most of people already are writing techniques of blog comments. Many of them, interested in so called blog comment styles. This is, They told you How you join discussions, consider the others, never provide the circles blah blah blah..
I want to try something different, below you will find 8 features about comments that i experienced before..
1.Read the article:
If you want to be good commentator, firstly you should read the article. If you don’t read the article how can you add your comment? I know some people that they skip article and swim between comments. If you are going to add comment, be sure that you read and understood the post.
2. Use Bold or Italic for highlights:
You can have good traffic to your blog if you pay attention your comments. Your blog traffic can be increase. You can use bold word for main subject, or you can use italic word for name or titles.
3. Share your opinions:
Time showed that the comments are : “I agree with you, Great post, i like that post, i love this post” don’t work and don’t add any value, or opinion. Is “I like this post” an opinion? And also, some people love to use just one word ‘Great’, ‘Awsome’, ‘Thanks’. I am sure they read the article. I know, I know, They can’t write a complete sentence.
4. Use your name and website:
While you leave a comment, please write your name and your blog or website link. Because bloggers want to know (ofcourse this is their right) who comment to blog, and what is his / her blog?
5. Gentility:
I viewed some comments like: ‘Stupid post’, You are wrong’, ‘Bad article’. Ofcourse you can disagree with the article of the blogger, tell it gently. So i already arm myself against potential rubbish.
6. Build Relationship:
If you are a good commentator i am sure, you have friends who you know them while writing comment. Strong relationship is important at Blog word.
7. Try to be first commentator:
I want to explain with an example: If you comment to an article at Copyblogger.com as first commentator. You can get huge visitor traffic to your blog.
8. Spam Comments:
Maybe this is the one of the most impartant issue that blogers are complainig. I had 20-30 spam comments everyday. Now, I am using Akismet plugin and i don’t get spam comments. Some people write comments to notepad, they just copy / paste to several blog contents. They assume that they will have baclinks. I just laugh
Yes, Comments effect baclink, but if you add value.

You say… “they skip article and swim between comments”, here’s another one.
I know people who are using auto blog commenting tools. They are not even visiting the blog, yet want to comment. I can’t understand those folks…
I love comments. You are right they are great for building relationships.
On tip #7 – I use this on my WordPress.com blog. I must be one of the few people that subscribe to the announcements from WordPress.com by email. I’ve left the first comment on the last 4 or 5 posts and it’s sending traffic to my blog from other WordPress.com users.
The diagram is pretty cool, did you create it yourself?
Thanks for talking about one of my favorite subjects.

Yes. Agree with tip #8 spammers do this. Just they are focusing on blog comment and don’t read the whole blog post . I must follow all the tips you mentioned in your post. Helpful information for blog commentators.
